Exceptional experience! The restaurant offers exquisite dishes, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The presentation is refined, the flavors authentic and the portions generous. The service is impeccable, with friendly, attentive and always available staff. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for any occasion. Excellent value for money. A true culinary gem that I highly recommend. We will definitely be back to taste new specialties!

Everything was really delicious, very high quality ingredients, friendly staff and a very charming place, inspired by the old days of Lucanian "peasant" culture.Plenty of parking, easy to reach, cleanliness and kindness of the staff are a plus to the excellent food you will enjoy, absolutely recommended!I'll let the photos speak for me!

Pleasant romantic candlelit dinner in a welcoming location that seems to be a union between a home atmosphere and a small museum. The particular and unexpected background music, attentive and efficient service. Tasty and typical food of the area. I ordered sausages with chicory... but I would like to underline that the sausages were a little dry, perhaps cooked too much. The rest very goodThe restaurant is located in an area that is a bit difficult to reach for those coming from out of town so I suggest increasing signage and lighting near it.

A fantastic restaurant with incredible food. Everything we tried was delicious (the peppers, the steak, the seafood carbonara, the dessert - it was all perfect).Easily the best meal we had in all of Italy, including Michelin-star restaurants throughout Apuglia, etc.And the kindest, coolest owner and staff possible. Go here!

During our visit to the "C'era Una Volta" restaurant in Potenza, we had the pleasure of tasting some of the most characteristic dishes of local cuisine. The Aviglianese-style cod was simply exquisite, with a perfect balance of flavors that paid homage to the Lucanian culinary tradition, not to mention the quality crusco pepper and just the right crusco. We also tried the cooked cod in a jar, an innovative dish that caught our attention. Although it was slightly salty, this only accentuated the intense flavors of the cod.The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and warm, just like it used to be, and the staff are extremely courteous and attentive. It is clear that "C'era Una Volta" is not just a name, but a real commitment to keeping the culinary traditions of Potenza alive. We highly recommend a visit to anyone who is in the area and wants an authentic gastronomic experience full of flavour, at very honest prices.
